Pathways crisis intervention and suicide prevention training has been delivered to faculty, staff and students for three years. Tuesday evening, during a campus-wide training in which 30 students took part, the 1000th person trained mark was passed! A special word of thanks to the many of you who have been trained in Pathways, encouraged others to be trained, and/or made training possible for members of our campus community. Because of our mutual efforts addressing mental health concerns, Ithaca College is a safer community for our students and for us all! Let's keep stomping out the stigma about accessing mental health care so that emotional obstacles to academic success are minimized! LeBron |
