 In honor of Hip-Hop History Month, IC's African-Latino Society presents: "I Used to Love Hearing.Every.Rhyme." To kickoff this week-long celebration, ALS is hosting a showcase and panel dedicated to the origins and core elements of hip hop! 

Monday, November 26 | Emerson Suites | 8-10 pm 

The panel will feature four legendary contributors to the development of Hip Hop music and culture:

  • Afrika Bambaataa (one of the leaders of the Hip Hop movement in the South Bronx
  • Crazy Legs (a legendary and influential b-boy)
  • DJ Rich Medina (World Class DJ from the NYC and Philadelphia region)
  • Joe Conzo (who photographed the birth and development of Hip Hop)

The event will also feature performances by:

  • IC Breakers
  • Pulse Dance Team
  • IC Spit That
  • Ithaca-based rapper Money Mars
  • student artists, and more!

These legendary and well-respected movers and shakers of Hip Hop will sit down for a panel about their contributions to Hip Hop and more, coupled with a night of great performances! You don't want to miss this!

This event is free and open to the general public.
