Media Arts Abroad - IC Programs in London and RomeContributed by Nicholas Muellner on 11/25/12 Thursday, November 29th, 12:10-1pm in Park 279 Prof. Nicholas Muellner will present an informational meeting for students interested in both the June 2013 Photographic Projects in Rome Program, and the on-going Media Arts Program at the Ithaca College London Center. Rome and London alumni will also be on hand to provide student insight on the programs. While both programs are open to a variety of majors, the London program in particular is interdisciplinary by nature, and has already included students pursuing Cinema, Photography, Screenwriting, Journalism, TV-R, Documentary Studies and Creative Writing degrees. Individual courses within the program are open to students from across the college without prerequisite. The short-term study abroad program in central Rome allows for intensive study in photography by students with some background in the medium. Both programs allow for focused study in Media Arts abroad, as well as production credit towards a number of Park School degree programs. Interested students who are unable to attend this meeting may contact Prof. Muellner at nmuellner@ithaca.edu with questions or to arrange a meeting.
