The Ithaca College forum "Bridging the Wall: I Know Who You Are" will feature two Cornell graduate students--one Israeli and one Palestinian--on Sunday, December 9 @7pm in Williams 211.

The speakers will discuss how they were raised to view the "other" and whether a change in socialization is possible in the current political climate. A Q & A session will follow the presentation.

IC students Nathan Bickell, Jason MacDermott and Robert Oliver have organized the forum as part of IC Witnessing Week.  The student organizers write, “Despite growing up in close proximity, Israelis and Palestinians rarely interact while growing up.  Often their only perceptions are born from a conflict marked by tragedy and fear.”

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, you can contact Nathan Bickell,  <nbickell90@gmail.com>.  Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Nathan. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
