These events are free and open to the public. At 1:00 pm in the Clark Theatre, Dillingham Center, the BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2013 will present the Musical Theatre Workshop. The performance, which will last approximately 90 minutes, spans 125 songs, from Gilbert and Sullivan to pop-star Pink. It will include songs from Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, On the Town, as well as rock songs by artists such as Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, Foreigner and Pat Benatar. Audience members are welcome to attend as schedules allow and to discretely enter or exit the theatre between songs. Following the Musical Theatre Workshop, you are cordially invited to the Theatrical Production Arts students' Portfolio Presentation in the Dillingham Lobby. 60 students in the Theatrical Production Arts major will have their portfolios, as well as class projects, available for viewing. These will include their designs and technical efforts connected to Ithaca College productions, as well as their professional work. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Susan Monagan at smonagan@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3915. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
