Viewing hours: Saturday and Sunday (15th-16th), 12-6 pm. The Ithaca College Photography Workshop class is pleased to present “Partially True,Totally False,” a group exhibition featuring the senior thesis works of Ithaca College photography students. This exhibition represents a semester long intensive accumulation of work from artists Matt Bealo, Cassie Bender, Michelle Boulé, Kate Calleri, Jesse Caruso, Julianne Cort, Luis De Tagle, Brittany Forest, Graham Hebel, David Lurvey, Mathea Millman, Rachel Orlow, Megan Parrot, Tom Smith, Jamie Sherwood, Shawn Steiner, and Anika Steppe. Under the guidance of Nicholas Muellner, each individual has formulated a body of work exploring a range of subjects: from the poetics of interior spaces, youth and identity formation and landscape as text for trauma, to the allure of night, an examination of how food is manipulated and the hidden world of backstage, among others. The opening reception will take place from 6-9 p.m on the 14th, food and drinks will be provided. All admission is free and open to the public. |
