The 4th annual Engaging Communities Luncheon will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Emerson Suites.  Join us as we explore and celebrate the notion of community and culture.  We have invited three guest speakers to share with us:

  • Wendy McRae-Owoeye, Brown University
  • Candace Baer, Rhode Island School of Design
  • Stanley Byrd, University of Rochester

All of our guests have had experiences leading efforts on their campus that strive to attain key institutional goals that focus on diversity and inclusion.  Examples will be shared that include development programs, use of climate survey results, and video and media campaigns.  All our guest speakers are accomplished higher education human resource professionals with experiences from many organizational cultures.

We hope you will join us for a delicious lunch and for what promises to be an enjoyable and thought-provoking program.

RSVP is required by February 4, 2013.  To RSVP please visit the Office of Human Resources web site at https://www.ithaca.edu/engagingcommunities.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Jane Ray at jray@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-5773. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
