Come Celebrate 40 Years of Title IX: 1972-2012 with the Bombers

The Ithaca College Athletics Department will celebrate 40 years of Title IX: 1972-2012 Friday, Jan. 25 at the women's and men's basketball doubleheader against Stevens Institute of Technology. The event will kick off at 6 p.m.

A variety of events will be taking place. Both games will be “Code Blue” games. Any fan in attendance wearing a navy blue shirt will be eligible to win raffle prizes during both contests. Student athletes wearing navy will have access to free pizza between games given they have a hand stamp. Hand stamps are available through the first half of the women's game that tips off at 6 p.m.

The main event, with a prize sponsored by Italian Carry Out, will take place during halftime of the first game. Free pizza for the rest of the semester will be awarded to the winner of a Title IX game show. All fans are eligible to enter into a drawing to participate in the game show, as long as they are participating in “Code Blue.”
