Assistant Professor Andrew Utterson (Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies) recently published in the early-2013 issue of Leonardo, MIT Press's peer-reviewed journal of arts, sciences, and technology.

Titled 'The In(puts) and Out(puts) of Real-Time Computing', the article explores––through interviews and archival research––the endeavors of scientists and filmmakers on the cutting edge of computer animation in the 1960s, with a particular emphasis on the historical determinants of technological change.
