Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion Deployment

Due to very recent Apple hardware changes, ITS has had to move more quickly than anticipated with deploying Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion.

For the Spring 2013 Technology Renewal installs and going forward, all newly-installed Apple computers will be delivered with Mac OS 10.8. If you use older, specialty applications please verify with the manufacturer that your software is compatible with the new operating system.

At this time, ITS is focusing on deploying the new operating systems on newly-installed computers and has not yet determined a process for upgrading existing older Mac OS systems.
