Engaging Communities Luncheon

Contributed by Jane Ray on 02/05/13

The 4th annual Engaging Communities Luncheon will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Emerson Suites.

Space is limited. RSVP today! To RSVP, please visit the Office of Human Resources web site at https://www.ithaca.edu/engagingcommunities.

Join us as we explore and celebrate the notion of community and culture.

We have invited three speakers to share with us. Our guest speakers are:

  • Candace Baer, Rhode Island School of Design
  • Stanley Byrd, University of Rochester
  • Wendy McRae-Owoeye, Brown University

All of our guests have had experiences leading efforts on their campus that strive to attain key institutional goals that focus on diversity and inclusion. Examples will be shared that include development programs, use of climate survey results, and video and media campaigns. Our guest speakers are accomplished higher education human resource professionals with experiences from many organizational cultures.

We hope you will join us for a delicious lunch and for what promises to be an enjoyable and thought-provoking program. This luncheon event is free and open to the campus.

RSVP is required. To RSVP please visit the Office of Human Resources web site at https://www.ithaca.edu/engagingcommunities
