As we move deeper into the 21st century, theatre artists are eager to find a deeper and more meaningful application of their skills. The old paradigm of theatre as a business is fading for many as questions of sustainability, social justice and community engagement come to the fore. How can theatre engage communities in addressing needed changes? Join Sarah and Godfrey Simmons (Epic Theatre Ensemble, Civic Theatre Ensemble) for a two-part workshop where you’ll learn techniques for creating original theatre with communities March 23 & 30 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. You must attend both sessions.
