Rebecca Plante gave invited talks at Colgate University and at Wells College.

Rebecca Plante, associate professor of sociology, was invited by Colgate University (earlier in February) to give a talk on 'hooking up,' sex, and dating. It was the kick off event for their 'Yes Means Yes!' Positive Sexuality education series; about 125 students and faculty attended. She also consulted with staff and students at Colgate about campus sexual climate.

Professor Plante was also invited to speak about 'hooking up,' sex, and dating at Wells College (2/26). The Sex Collective and the Women's Resource Center, in conjunction with the Women's and Gender Studies Program, sponsored the visit. The talk drew over 20% of the college's student body.
