If you are actively engaged in community service and other forms of community involvement, now is your opportunity to receive the recognition you deserve! The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) would like to encourage individuals and student organizations to acknowledge their dedication by applying for The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) this spring!
The PVSA is among the highest recognitions for individuals and groups performing an exemplary level of direct community service on an annual basis. Recipients receive an official certified letter of achievement, a congratulatory letter, and the official PVSA pin from the President of the United States. Students are encouraged to contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu for more criteria on how to nominate themselves or a registered student organization with which they are affiliated BEFORE APRIL 15, 2013.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
