All proceeds from the concert will go to Special Olympics of Ithaca New York. Tickets will be sold on Monday and Wednesday in Campus Center or available at the door for only $5! Flame is a group of talented musicians from upstate New York who happen to have disabilities. Since 2003 they have been changing the world with their music. "Flame's mission is to bring our music and message to the world to help change how the public perceives people with disabilities and increase the awareness and acceptance of all people." Spread the Word to End the Word is a movement advocating the end of the word "retarded" in everyday language due to its offensiveness. By attending our concert, you can make the pledge to end the word! Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Rachael Hintze at rhintze1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |

Flame the Band will be returning to Ithaca College on Wednesday, March 27th! Join us in Emerson Suites as part of a Spread the Word to End the Word event hosted by IC Student Volunteers for Special Olympics! Doors will open at 7:30pm and will be followed shortly by opening act IC VoiceStream!
