The College will be making its "fifth year" report to our regional accrediting agency (Middle States) in June 2013.  This document reports our progress in all of the areas for which we received Middle States recommendations following the decennial accreditation review of 2008, and also provides information about the College's planning process and assessment activities. IC faculty, students and staff are welcome to review the report in draft form and provide comments and suggestions to the working group charged with preparing a final version.

Known as a "Periodic Review Report" (PRR), this document will be read by an external review team appointed by Middle States.  That team's recommendation will go to the full Middle States board, and will be the basis of their decision regarding continuation of Ithaca College's regional accreditation status until our next decennial review in 2018.

Please take a look at the draft PRR, posted on the Provost's Office website at www.ithaca.edu/provost/accreditation/.  You will need to enter your Ithaca College user name and password in order to access the document.  Comments, questions and suggestions related to the draft may be sent to prr@ithaca.edu, and will be provided to the College's PRR working group for their consideration as they prepare the final version of the document.  Please note that links to document appendices are not yet live, since the group is still in the process of gathering appendix items and attaching them to the draft report.  The draft will remain open for comments until Friday, April 19.

Current members of the PRR working group include:

Robert Cree, Karen Edwards, Diane Gayeski, Martha Gray, Jason Hamilton, Carol Henderson, Doreen Hettich-Atkins, and Danette Johnson.  Also serving on this group last year were Ann Lynn and Greg Woodward.  Administrative assistance is provided by Dylan Schoch.

If you have questions or suggestions about the PRR process, you are welcome to  contact Associate Provost Carol Henderson (cghenderson@ithaca.edu), who serves as the working group's facilitator.
