Kippur (כיפור), a 2000 Israeli drama war film directed by Amos Gitai, will screen Monday, April 8 at 7 p.m. in Textor 102.

The storyline is based on Gitai's own experiences as a member of a helicopter rescue crew during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. The film stars actors Liron Levo, Tomer Russo and Uri Klauzner in principal roles. It premiered at Cannes Film Festival.

Israeli actor Liron Levo, the leading character of the movie will be present at the screening for a Q&A and to share stories from his acting career. He currently lives in Hollywood and has worked with Sean Penn, Steven Spielberg and Natalie Portman.
