Writing Center Now Accepting Applications

The Writing Center is now accepting applications for the position of Peer Tutor starting Fall 2013. Peer Tutors spend 10 hours per week in the Writing Center at Smiddy 107 working one-on-one with students at all stages of the writing process.

 

Applicants should have excellent academic writing and critical reading skills as well as a GPA of 3.0 or higher.  The deadline for applications is Friday, April 12. Pick up an application at Smiddy 107 or visit our website at https://www.ithaca.edu/hs/depts/writing/writingcenter/ . A completed application will include a résumé, two full expository writing samples, and a short essay of intent.
