Park Student Documentary Featuring Work of HSHP Dept. To Screen April 15Contributed by Melissa Gattine on 04/09/13 Communication is often taken for granted, but it is what 13-year-old Alexis Runyan and four-year-old Oliver Chatterjee struggle with every day. Both children are nonverbal and cannot sign with their hands due to disorders that create a lack of muscle control. The documentary has received funding from the James B. Pendelton Student Research and Production Grant, won the Imprint Magazine Contest, been accepted into the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival, and aired on WCNY.
