The Handwerker Gallery is thrilled to showcase the work of 30 Ithaca College seniors in our final exhibition of the year! Please join us for the opening reception! ARTiculated: 2013 Senior Student Show Every artist is a natural storyteller, each with their own unique visual language. The direction, force, and position of every gesture; the hue, value, and saturation of every color; the light, shadow and space of every composition; as well as the form, texture, and motion of every construction– all of these elements become phonemes, punctuations, accents, words, and phrases that construct the character, plot, setting, conflict and meaning in a visual narrative. Whether or not these narratives be factual or fictive, objective or subjective, the teller/artist and the listener/audience are actively involved in the construction and interpretation of meaning.
