This course will describe the structure, transmission, replication, prevention and treatment, and associated pathology of viruses.  The course will discuss the historical, cultural and economic impact of clinically significant DNA and RNA viruses such as HIV, influenza, HPV, hepatitis, Ebola and norovirus. (3 credits) Fall 2013; MWF 8-8:50, Hill 107.

Dr. Kari Brossard-Stoos of the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education will teach the course.
