Graduating seniors Anna Rothfus (Theater Arts Management with a minor in French) and Richard Yue (French and Francophone Studies) have been selected to teach English in France as part of the French government's Teaching Assistantship in France Program for the 2013 - 2014 academic year.

Each year, the French Ministry of Education selects American college and university students to teach English language and American culture courses in public schools throughout France, including its overseas departments and territories.  Applicants to this highly selective program are expected to have a record of academic excellence, a high proficiency in the French language, and a demonstrated ability to promote cultural understanding between France and the United States.

Please join the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in congratulating Anna and Rich and in wishing them a fruitful year in France.

Félicitations Anna et Rich ! Nous sommes fiers de vous et nous vous souhaitons un très bon séjour en France.
