Come hear Svante Myrick, mayor of Ithaca, talk to the Rotaract Club about student activism, the Ithaca community, and the environment! When: Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 7:00 PM Where: Textor 101 Did you know our mayor turned his parking space into a mini-park and was elected in 2011 at age 24? "When somebody questions your age, it's not that they're wondering if you've had enough birthdays to do the job. They're wondering if you're dedicated enough... They wonder if you have the experience it takes to get things done and if you show them those things, then the age is just a number." - Svante Myrick This event is open to the entire Ithaca College community.
