Games for Interactive Learning: Using Clickers for InteractionContributed by Marilyn Dispensa on 05/02/13 Tuesday, May 7, 2013 Register Here (registration is encouraged, but not necessary Join us for a Faculty Show and Share presented by Susan Nixson, who teaches The Environmental Crisis. She will discuss the use of clickers to engage students and she'll demonstrate the use of clickers to play Jeopardy in an effort to help students review for their final exam. Topics to be covered include what questions to ask and how to use the data you collect to guide students in studying. Clickers are a great way to deliver formative assessments and gauge student comprehension of materials. Faculty, Students, and Staff are invited to join us for this demonstration and the conversation to follow! Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Laurie Wasik at wasik@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3734. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
