Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is pleased to recognize Margie Arnold, Special Assistant to the Provost, for the vision that led to Pathways training for 37% of first-year HSHP students during the 2012-2013 academic year. Margie’s efforts significantly increased the number of students on campus trained to recognize when their peers might be in distress, respond in a helpful manner and refer them to various on-campus resources for professional support. Margie helps make the Ithaca College community safer by Stompin’ out the Stigma that prevents some students from getting the help they need.
