Users of Dterm “display” phones may notice a 1-2 minute telephone service outage this week. No active phone calls will be dropped.

During the brief outage, the phone display panels will go blank and there will be no dial tone. When service is fully restored, the display panels will show the date and time. The Office of Public Safety’s phone line (607-274-3333) will not be disturbed by this upgrade.   

Please note: Any customized ringtones that have been set will revert to the standard ringtone. Follow these instructions to reset a desired ringtone:

• Press the Feature button, then press 3
• Repeatedly press 3 to cycle through the available ringtones
• Press Feature during the desired tone to select it
