Asma Barlas, professor and director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity, gave two invited presentations and participated in a round table at the Critical Muslim Studies summer school in Granada, Spain, in mid-June. 

 

 

The theme for the summer school, run by the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Granada, is "Islam and Decolonization." Barlas was an invited faculty member this year.
