Ithaca College Director of Orchestras Jeffery Meyer traveled to St. Louis, MO, last week to receive one of 19 ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming, distributed at the League of American Orchestras 68th National Conference.

ASCAP and the League of American Orchestras present the awards annually to orchestras of all sizes for programs that challenge the audience, build the repertoire and increase interest in music of our time.

Accepting the award on behalf of the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra for the third year in a row, Meyer was in the company of some fine conductors, music directors and musicians from across the nation.
