The Office of Employee & Organizational Development is accepting applications for the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 offering of “Engaging Professionals at Ithaca College (EPIC)” certificate program.  EPIC is a competency-based program designed to provide administrative office professionals with the opportunity to expand their existing capabilities, resulting in high levels of excellence, professionalism, and job satisfaction.

During the program, participants will develop core skills critical to the administrative office professional role by focusing on best practices, useful strategies, and institutional competencies.  Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate and communicate with colleagues during and following the conclusion of each workshop to develop their network of peers across IC.

During the 2013-2014, two programs will be offered.  Each program will consist of eight three-hour sessions and will be held on the following dates and times: 

Program I:

  • October 1, 2013 – 9:00am – 1:00pm (includes lunch)
  • October 8, 2013 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • October 15, 2013 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • October 22, 2013 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • October 29, 2013 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • November 5, 2013 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • November 12, 2013 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • November 19, 2013 - 9:00am – 1:00pm (celebration luncheon)

Program II:

  • February 19, 2014 – 9:00am – 1:00pm (includes lunch)
  • February 26, 2014 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • March 5, 2014 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • March 12, 2014 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • March 19, 2014 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • March 26, 2014 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • April 2, 2014 – 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • April 9, 2014 – 9:00am – 1:00pm (celebration luncheon)

Note:  Participants must obtain approval from their supervisor to be considered for the program.
