Ithaca College

Lana (Lomber) Hodgson, Information and Administrative Services Assistant, will be retiring from Ithaca College on August 9, 2013.  The Office of Admission staff would like to thank Lana for her nearly 22 years of faithful work and untiring dedication to Ithaca College and to our office. 

 In her role as receptionist, Lana has answered thousands of phone calls and welcomed hundreds of students and their families to the Ithaca College campus.  In August of 2009 Lana began splitting her days between providing reception services in the mornings and offering admission staff administrative support in the afternoons.  Whether working directly with the public or working to support other colleagues in their work with the public, Lana’s commitment to offering the best customer service possible has been stellar.  We wish her all the best as she relocates to North Carolina with her husband and begins exploring the new possibilities her well-deserved retirement affords her. 

Members of the campus community are invited to stop by Lana’s desk (in the back office area) on the first floor of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center on Thursday afternoon, August 8, 2013 between 2 and 4 pm to extend your well wishes.
