Last Monday, July 29, Frank Gabriel Campos, professor of trumpet, was featured on American Public Media's 'Performance Today' on July 29, playing his arrangement of 'The Water is Wide and Variations', a unaccompanied solo improvisation on the beloved hymn tune. 

Campos and Nicholas Walker, associate professor of string bass, were also featured on July 14, performing their arrangement of Paul McCartney's 'Here, There, and Everywhere." Campos has been featured on the nationally syndicated program 10 times in the last three years; most of the performances were in a duo with Walker. 

One of America's most popular classical music radio programs, Performance Today reaches more than 1.3 million weekly listeners on more than 260 stations around the country. Performance Today host Fred Child mentioned Ithaca College several times in his generous commentary throughout the July 29 broadcast.
