“Grandpa” Rick Couture came to Ithaca College as a Residence Director in 1981, and except for a brief 9-month departure two years later, has been a part of the Ithaca College community for over 30 years. He has witnessed first hand and been instrumental in much of the building and renovation work that has taken place and in building a strong team that keeps our vehicles running, our campus clean, well maintained and nicely landscaped. Rick and his wife Margarete will be leaving Ithaca to return to his New England roots as the Director of Facilities and Operations at Northfield Mount Herman, a private school in western Massachusetts where he will be centrally located between extended family in the Albany area and Vermont. Please come and join us in thanking Rick for his leadership and stewardship at a farewell reception on Thursday, August 29th from noon to 1:30 at the Warehouse. That is the large building on the right when you approach the Facilities Complex from upper campus. Farewell Reception for Rick Couture Comment from
