Ithaca College

Ithaca College students can buy TCAT bus passes specifically created for them. The unlimited ride student semester pass is $110 per semester. The Fall bus pass is good from August 1 through December 31; the Spring bus pass is good from January 1 through May 31. You may also purchase unlimited ride monthly bus passes for $30 or 15-ride passes for $15.

All pricing listed is for Zone 1, which covers most of the areas to which IC students usually need to travel; Zone 2 pricing is higher. If you aren't sure which transit zone coverage you will need, refer to the TCAT Zone map.

Ithaca College underwrites the cost of these passes to make them more affordable for our students; to obtain the discounted Ithaca College student rates, you must purchase your bus pass permissions online from TCAT. Your purchased bus pass will be transferred electronically onto your ID card, so you only need to show your ID card when you board the TCAT bus.

To activate your bus pass on your ID card, go to the TCAT home page (http://www.tcatbus.com/), click on the pictures of Student IDs that says "College Students" and follow the instructions from there. You will have to create a TCAT account, add your student ID to your account, and then "recharge" your ID with an Ithaca College Semester Pass or other pass. These “recharge” purchases will be charged to your credit card. These bus pass purchases can not be made using ID Express.
