Storytellers from the Beehive Design Collective will be on campus this fall to share diverse stories of survival, community development, and collective action that calls into question the purpose and benefit of "Proyecto Mesoamerica.

The program will be held in Textor 102 at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 8.

"Mesoamerica Resiste" illustrates stories of resistance, resilience, and solidarity from Mexico to Colombia. This presentation will feature two awesome storytellers who will highlight tales of community opposition to megadevelopment projects, and the collaboratively crafted graphic that accompanies their story provides an accessible way to learn about the impacts of colonialism and the global economy on the cultural and ecological diversity of the region.
