Sign up soon in Campus Center for Ithacappella auditions taking place this Saturday!Contributed by Christopher Frost on 08/27/13 Want to sing to packed audiences and make memories that will last a lifetime? Find us at our table on the second floor of Campus Center 9am-3pm, Wednesday through Friday to claim your spot on the Ithacappella audition list and chat with us if you have questions! Ithaca College's only all-male a cappella group has an amazing year ahead, and it's looking for a handful of new talents to join its ranks and fill the gaps left by last year's incredible crew of seniors. Come show off your pipes, perc, and personality THIS SATURDAY in Presser Hall on the third floor of the Whalen Center for Music. Callbacks will be held Saturday night. Relax and play to your strengths. We want you to do well, show us your best, and have a good time! Please prepare two short solos of contrasting styles (pop/rock, uptempo/ballad, jazz/rap, etc.), about 1 minute per song to do a verse and chorus of each. In addition, feel free to show us anything else you think would make you an asset to the group. Beatboxing, rapping, examples of arranging ability, etc. are all welcomed. We're psyched to hear all of you. Don't miss your chance to join this blazing brotherhood of great times and great music that could be a defining part of your college experience! |
