Former Alumni Board Member Louis V. Spiotti, Sr., Has Passed AwayContributed by Chris Pollock on 08/28/13 Contributed on behalf of Carrie Brown, Executive Director of Alumni Relations Louis V. Spiotti, Sr., a 1939 graduate of IC's School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER), passed away on August 18, 2013. He earned a bachelor of science degree in 1939 and a master of science degree in 1950. Mr. Spiotti was an engaged and active member of the IC alumni community. He served on the Ithaca College Alumni Association Board of Directors from 1968 to 1984 and was a director emeritus from June 2010 until his death. In addition, he served in many volunteer capacities, including as a regional volunteer, reunion class committee chair, and admission representative. He was inducted into the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1975 and was awarded with the alumni association's highest honor, the Distinguished Alumni Award, in June 1990. His son, Louis Spiotti, Jr., is a 1968 graduate of the School of HPER. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Antoinette T.
