School of Business offers Executive in Residence this fallContributed by Paul Deamer on 09/16/13 The School of Business is proud to welcome Randy Christian ’72 as their executive in residence for the fall 2013 semester. As executive in residence, Randy will have the opportunity to interact with students and faculty, both in and out of the classroom, regarding career and industry issues. He will also meet with the school’s professional student organizations and confer with and provide feedback to the deans on a variety of strategic goals. Randy, a 30-year veteran in the global health care industry, retired from Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in 2012. For almost all of that time, he was a member of J&J’s corporate staff and worked in both the Human Resources and Law departments. Students and faculty will have the opportunity to meet with Randy three separate times, all a week each over the fall semester. “Having someone like Randy here, with his wealth of healthcare and corporate industry experience, will be a wonderful resource for our students this semester.” said Dean Mary Ellen Zuckerman Randy's responsibilities were primarily in the areas of compensation and benefits program design, human resources information systems, employment practices litigation support, and employee data analysis. For most of his J&J years, Randy's responsibilities involved global programs. At the time of his retirement, he was the Director of Employee Analytics. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to interact with the School of Business community.” said Randy Christian. “There is an exciting energy at the School that enlivens the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiential learnings. It is great to be able to come back to the School and engage in dialogues with the students, faculty and staff.” |
