centers on the opportunities and responsibilities those who work with youth have to address the needs of LGBTQ young people. This edition outlines strategies for making program environments more inclusive.

Designed for practitioners who work with youth or oversee youth programming, the Practice Matters publication series offers information about the practical application of youth development principles and is a collaboration of Cornell University, University of Rochester, and New York State Center for School Safety. ACT (Assets Coming Together) for Youth Center of Excellence connects research to practice in the areas of positive youth development and adolescent sexual health.
