Three credit field class involving experiential and service learning in the islands of Hawaii (Oahu, Big Island). Info session Thurs. Sept. 26 in Gannett 110 at 7pm.

 

The course introduces an anthropological approach in understanding issues such as cultural resource management, environmental preservation, Native Hawaiian culture and history, migration, multiculturalism, religious pluralism and the impact of tourism.
