Frank Gabriel Campos, professor of trumpet, was invited to the University of Northern Iowa's School of Music to teach master classes and to perform his 'Art of the Single Line' unaccompanied solo program.

Campos met with all of the brass students at UNI in two separate sessions that included solo performances from selected students and a masterclass on advanced brass techniques. 

The concert on Friday, September 19, featured Campos playing a wide variety of works from the classical, jazz, and folk repertoire "creating highly involved and skillful improvisational intros and developments that outline the musical structure, making complete and satisfying pieces for unaccompanied solo performance," according to one reviewer.
