Amnesty International in Collaboration with IC Human Rights and Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival presents the film:

Dirty Wars

Friday October 4th at 7 p.m.

In the Health Science and Human Performance Building, room Hill 104

Ithaca College

FREE and open to the public.

Dirty Wars is a Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary that follows investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill as he chases down the hidden truth behind the US government's "global war" theory, used to justify killings around the world with drones and other weapons.

The U.S. government's "global war" theory is being used to justify human rights violations. Amnesty International is pushing to have the law at the heart of the "global war" theory - 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) – repealed.
