Food for Thought to discuss childhood nutrition this Wednesday at 7:00Contributed by Zachary Briggs on 10/01/13 All are welcome to attend Food for Thought's meeting in Friends to discuss those infamous school lunches we remember from our past. Why are the unhealthy foods getting government subsidies and making it into children's lunches? What can we do to promote healthier lunches? Food for Thought is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children around the world who are denied access to basic living necessities, a quality education, and proper nutrition. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Zachary Briggs at zbriggs1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
