 Enrique Gonzalez-Conty, PhD Candidate at the University of Texas, Austin and an Ithaca College Pre-Doctoral Diversity Fellow presented "History in Exile: Contesting the Cuban Revolutionary Archive from Abroad" to the Cornell University Latin American Studies Program seminar series. In the talk, Mr. Gonzalez-Conty analyzed Tomas Gutierrez Alea's 1968 "Memories of Underdevelopment," and its influence on the subsequent fifty years of Cuban cinematic history.
