Karen Serbonich, Director of Mail Services, was presented the Association of College and University Mail Services (ACUMS) annual inductee award into the Founders Circle.  The award honors members’ distinctive contributions, outstanding service, and long-term dedication and acknowledges their significant impact in furthering the mission of ACUMS.

A member of ACUMS since 2003, Karen has participated significantly by writing numerous articles for the newsletter, hosting the ACUMS 30th anniversary conference in 2009, serving on two election committees, and becoming a program chair in 2009 making her an essential part of conferences since then.

As mentioned by the committee, Karen’s induction became the highlight of the banquet. She was presented with a plaque honoring her as the 2013 Founders Circle recipient.

ACUMS serves the Northeast and currently has over 100 members representing 71 colleges and universities.
