Native Identity Panel and the Role of Allies (Two Row Wampum Campaign Insights).

Nov. 12 (Tues) Klingenstein Lounge at 7pm

Hollie Kulago (Diné) and Ettie Anderson (Diné) will lead a panel of Ithaca College students sharing their thoughts and experiences about having Native ancestry and being Native American. We will also discuss the role of allies and how non-Natives can be involved and supportive without appropriating or co-opting Native culture. The Two Row Wampum Renewal Campaign paddle event from this past summer will be used as an example of a collaborative event that helped to define the role of allies.
