Associate Professor Jennifer Jolly (Department of Art History) presented a paper in Queretaro, Mexico, as part of the Annual International Art History Congress sponsored by UNAM’s Instituto de Investigaciones Esteticas. Fitting with the conference’s "Landscape in the Americas" theme, Jolly gave a paper entitled “Seeing Lake Pátzcuaro: Landscape, Art and Tourism in Cardentista Mexico,” which is part of her larger study of art, tourism, and nation-building in 1930s Mexico. |
