School of Business is pleased to announce its second Short Study Abroad program in China, tentatively scheduled for May 14 -29, 2014.

Traveling between Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Nanchong, students will be able to witness the more industrialized coastal region of China as well as its developing and rural cities. The itinerary includes lectures by Chinese and foreign executives & faculty, field trips to companies and business centers, as well as major historical sites such as the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square, among others.

Information sessions will be held in Business 204 on Tuesday, November 19, from 12:05 - 1 p.m. and in BUS 206 on Wednesday, November 20, from 7-8 p.m. Pending on final approval, this course in open to all students with sophomore standing and above.

Students interested in this trip should enroll in a 2 credts Block 2 course in Spring 2014 and together with the  1 credit study abroad course component in May, they would receive a total of three credits that could be used as a “business” or “open/free” elective.
