U.S. Public Interest Research Group Info Session is Thursday in Career ServicesContributed by Kristin LiBritz on 12/03/13 Learn about the Campus Organizer position (full-time, post graduation role) and Fellowship Program with the U.S. PIRG during an information session on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 12:15pm in Career Services. U.S. PIRG is a federation of state-based, nonprofit, nonpartisan organizations that work for the public interest on a range of issues. The organization focuses on finding good ideas and pushing for real change, even when a powerful interest stands in the way. When U.S. PIRG Campus Organizers fight for the public, they stand up to some of America's most powerful special interests, from Wall Street to Big Oil, from the Auto Industry to Super PACs.
