On December 4th, Jeff Cohen, Park Center for Independent Media Director and Associate Professor of Journalism, and Ariel Gold, a member of Congregation Tikkun v'Or and coordinator of the Ithaca chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, will speak about their recent trips to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories at 7pm. This event will take place in Park 277 and will include a Q&A with the presenters, who had a first-person experience seeing the conflict and current state of this part of the world.

Both Jeff and Ariel toured the West Bank and East Jerusalem as part of an Interfaith Peace-Builders delegation and saw what daily life is like for Palestinians under Israeli occupation. They also met with activists for peace and justice in Israel/Palestine.

Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Sponsored by Students for Justice in Palestine and the Park Center for Independent Media
