Join She's the First*{Ithaca} on Thursday, December 5th at 8pm in Friends 208 to Skype with Tammy Tibbetts, the Founder and President of She's the First, a non-profit organization that sponsors girls’ education in developing countries.

She’s the First has been recognized at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall and in the Huffington Post’s “Greatest Person of the Day” series. In 2010, Levi’s named Tammy a Social Change Ambassador for its Shape What’s to Come campaign.

Tammy is also a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council and New York Women in Communications. Tammy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the College of New Jersey with a B.A. in journalism.
